Downtown ‘altercation’ injures two people in Yellowknife

Yellowknife RCMP are asking for tips as they continue to investigate a downtown ‘altercation’ that left two people injured Saturday morning.

Police say the incident happened around 3:00 a.m. at the intersection of 52 Avenue and 53 Street. That’s the intersection where Bruno’s Pizza is located.

Following the apparent altercation, RCMP say one victim declined to cooperate with the investigation while the other was sent to hospital for medical attention.
