Man pulled from water near N’Dilo identified as Gerald Zoe

The body that was found in Yellowknife Bay last weekend has been identified as Gerald Zoe, reportedly of Behchokǫ̀. 

Zoe’s body was pulled from the water near N’Dilo around 6 pm on Sunday, after his body was seen floating.

MAN FROM DETTAH REMAINS MISSING

Meanwhile, a community search party is planned in Dettah on Thursday at 9:30 am in the search for 21-year-old Mark Lynn. The group will be meeting at the local band office.

Lynn was last seen August 24 and reported missing on August 28.

Police believe he was travelling on foot, and may have been in the “Lagoon” area of Dettah on the evening of August 24. RCMP say they have no description of the clothing he was wearing.

Lynn is described as:

  • Aboriginal
  • 5’ 10”
  • 167 lbs (medium build)
  • brown hair
  • brown eyes
