Yellowknife, NWT – RCMP say a man has died and another has been seriously injured after an incident at a Yellowknife home on Sunday morning.
Police were called to a residence in the city at 5am, having received a report of two unconscious males.
In a statement, RCMP said both had “serious injuries” and were taken to Stanton Territorial Hospital.
One male has since died. The other has been transferred to Edmonton, by medevac, for further treatment on severe injuries.
The identity of those involved has not been made public, nor has a cause of death been confirmed. There are, as yet, no further details. The RCMP’s major crimes unit is investigating.
