Folk on the Rocks reveals schedule for 2016 music festival

Folk on the Rocks has unveiled the schedule for next weekend’s summer music festival in Yellowknife.

The 36th annual festival will take place on the weekend of July 16 along the shores of Long Lake.

Earlier this year, festival organizers revealed a ‘culturally diverse’ lineup consisting of artists and bands that fit into a number of different musical genres.

Headliners for this year’s event include the Barr Brothers, Joel Plaskett Emergency and A Tribe Called Red.

As per usual, the festival will also include a wealth of local talent.

Single day passes for adults cost $90 while weekend passes can be purchased for $130. Youth and seniors can buy single day passes for $60 and weekend passes for $75.
