Yellowknife RCMP arrest man for aggravated assault

Yellowknife RCMP have arrested an adult male for aggravated assault.

Police responded to a complaint of an assault with a weapon at 48 Con Road shortly before 9pm on Tuesday.

An adult male was injured in the incident and taken to Stanton Hospital.

The suspect was found and arrested. He remains in police custody and is scheduled to appear in court later today.

Criminal charges are pending as the investigation continues.
