Missing High Level, Alta. teenage girl found safe in Hay River

A teenage girl who was reported missing from High Level, Alta. earlier this week has been found safe in Hay River.

Kiana Eht-Chillay, 16, was reported missing from the northern Alberta community on Tuesday when her mother told police she had run away from home.

At the time, local RCMP had reason to believe she was travelling to Hay River and asked for the public’s help in finding her.

On Thursday afternoon, police announced that Eht-Chillay was found safe in Hay River.
