A Fort Simpson man is facing charges after police seized handguns and marijuana from a residence in the community.
On Friday afternoon, police arrested a 51-year-old man for possession of two restricted handguns and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking.
RCMP say two .22 calibre handguns and approximately 100 grams of weed were seized.
The man, who hasn’t been identified, has been released from custody pending his next court appearance.
