Yellowknife RCMP say a man has been arrested in connection with an assault that left another man seriously injured in Dettah.
Around 4:15am Wednesday, police responded to a disturbance at a home in the community, where they found an injured man.
By the time officers arrived, the suspect had already fled the scene. The victim meanwhile, was taken to Stanton Territorial Hospital to be treated for injuries.
On Wednesday afternoon, police arrested a man at a residence in Yellowknife and later said no other suspects are being sought at this time.
Charges have yet to be laid as RCMP continue to investigate.
