Yellowknife RCMP investigating downtown stabbings, assault

Police in Yellowknife are asking for witnesses to come forward after two men were stabbed and a woman was assaulted downtown Tuesday night.

At approximately 6:19pm, RCMP say they found a man suffering from apparent stab wounds outside Centre Square Mall.

Another man with similar injuries and a female assault victim were also found nearby.

Police believe the assaults took place at a nearby apartment building and that drugs and alcohol were a factor.
