Man and woman reported missing in Yellowknife found safe

RCMP say two people reported missing in Yellowknife were found safe on Monday afternoon.

Kimberly Sarasin, 42, and David Lafferty, 45, were reported missing by family on Saturday.

Prior to Monday afternoon, they were last seen at the Centre Square Mall on Saturday but their families hadn’t heard from them since last Tuesday.

In a news release, police thanked the public and media for their assistance.
