Missing Stanton patient found safe, returned to hospital

Yellowknife RCMP say missing Stanton patient Roland Yendo has been found safe and returned to the hospital.

The 58-year-old was reported missing Wednesday night after he left hospital grounds. His absence from the hospital wasn’t believed to place the public at any increased risk.

On Friday morning, police announced that Yendo was located safely on Thursday night and returned to the hospital.

RCMP want to thank the public for the role they played in finding him.
