Police in Yellowknife say an armed robbery took place at the Monkey Tree Gas Bar on Thursday evening.
According to a news release issued on Friday, police were called to the Range Lake Road gas station shortly before 7pm on Thursday.
RCMP say a man with his face covered, dressed in dark clothing, brandished a knife and left the store with “a small quantity of cash”.
Surveillance camera footage from the store is being reviewed by police.
