RCMP continue to investigate death in Fort Liard

Yellowknife, NWT – Police are continuing to investigate the death of a Fort Liard man, in the southwest corner of the NWT.

RCMP say they were notified that a 63-year-old male was found deceased in the back yard of a residence in that community on Friday night.

They add the man had last been seen earlier in the day.

The Mounties say they are working on determining the circumstances surrounding the death and the cause is undetermined at this time.

Should anyone have any information in relation to this investigation, contact the RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
