Yellowknife, NWT – The city of Yellowknife is inviting residents to the official opening of the newly renovated council chamber.
People are asked to join Mayor Mark Heyck and council at 6:15 Monday tonight in the upstairs foyer at City Hall for a ribbon cutting ceremony and public reception.
In a news release, Heyck says renovations to council chambers provide a welcoming community space for public meetings and an improvement to services offered to the residents of Yellowknife.
